To the world's Buddhists and Hindus, Mt Kailash is the
high, remote western borderland of Tibet is the centre
of the universe, the holiest of holy. It definitely
looks the part, rising like a lone apparition form the
windswept alpine.

The route from Simikot of Nepal
to Mt. Kailash in Tibet via Yari entry point was restricted
to trekkers until times. We begin our itinerary for
this trip (Simikot Trek to Mt. Kailash) with a flight
to simikot, located in the far west region of Nepal.
